Composer and record label director Erich Stem added to list of presenters
I’m please to announce that Erich Stem, resident composer at Indiana University Southeast and the founder/artistic director of New Dynamic Records, has agreed to give a presentation on the label’s goal “to establish a paradigm within a university-support system that tackles some of the challenges and opportunities of our rapidly changing classical music model, such as issues that deal with digital distribution, how to promote to younger listeners (between ages 17 - 25), the role of the ‘classical record label’ of this century, new music and what it is about today.” Professor Stem’s presentation will be at 10:00 AM on Friday November 30.
